why is the product not sealed. The cap just screws off. Is that safe?

This product is designed by the manufacturer to have a screw‑off cap without an inner foil or plastic seal, and we ship it in that original condition. It is considered safe to use as long as the cap is fully closed when not in use and the pads look and smell normal, but we will also relay your safety concern to the manufacturer.
